Welcome Guest!
The Aymara indigenous people call each other “kullaka” (sister) and “jilata” (brother). This comes from a sense of communal solidarity. We chose our name, "Kullakas," as a statement of solidarity among ourselves as well as with the world. We work together reclaiming the profound wisdom of our ancestors, applying their techniques and art in affirmation of our culture, and striving to help each other economically.
Kullakas sell handmade loom alpaca shawls, handmade handwoven loom alpaca scarf and scarves, hand knit alpaca gloves, warm hand knit alpaca socks, dolls and other specialty items. We take pride in our work and our product. We offer 13 beautiful colors of hand knit alpaca items; Black, Grey, Beige, Brown, White, Red, Navy, Yellow, Orange, Green, Eggplant, Light Pink, and Light Blue. Kullakas would be more than happy to hand knit or hand loom specialty items in these colors. Our Specialty items can include designs, color combinations, and specialty size requests.
